Found this after all these years my goodness pretty sure this was 4&Rotary Nationals 2013, BDYSLM plates were on the Hiace, MZCHIF plates were on Tonis Maserati, Lincoln was only 6 years old at the time and Jett wasn't even around. Only MADBUL and BADBUL were the only cars in the NZ based stables, Conquer the Cown hadn't even been filmed yet, the first Red Bull Drift Shifters had only happened the month prior on Victoria Street and Instagram was still in its infancy here in NZ, 16 year old me (now I'm hitting 30 this year) with shortish hair, Mike always getting his stylish fades with Lincoln and always having a poster to sign with STICK IT TO THE WALL or MAXIMUM ATTACK alongside it. Still a huge fan of the MADFAM and where they've gone in the world and how they've put New Zealand on the map. Thanks for being such an inspiration Mikey.

Mad Mike Whiddett Isaac Lyon this was back in January 2016 what I had then in my collection. Missing everything before 2012 in the collection besides some NZ Performance Car posters I managed to get from old poster books.

What year did you first witness Mike in person? After growing up in the Coromandel Peninsula and moving to Auckland I went to Red Bull Trolley Grand Prix at Auckland Domain, there was a clip of Gen 4 #MADBUL of Mike screaming up the hill and I was in awe, definitely had to listen to more when I got home and Oversteer TV had me sorted bit the clip is no longer up so big sad. Been a fan ever since and collecting alot of things like Merch, Hats and then all the posters from Gen 5 onwards but want to complete the set.

Mike getting the champagne showers back at MadMike Summer Bash 2024 after coming up young gun Brayden Mair in the Final.

Brayden has been a regular to MadMikes Drift Force days alongside his family in which his sister and Dad are also in their own drift cars, Brayden has finished his first season of D1NZ Pro placing 15th out of 26 drivers so a true testament to practicing as much as possible especially his welcome to Pro Battle being with Luke Fink.
