On Lock Daily my first photo with Mad Mike Whiddett because I was too shy and awkward to ask for one 😂

On Lock Daily correct. Around June & it was absolutely freezing

I first heard of Mike before Red Bull with the RX7 was OG af. I first saw him in person in 2012 at the very first Red Bull Drift Shifters later that year my first time at D1NZ. I then saw him again in 2013, but I was too shy to say hello to someone I looked up to for ages. So took this super awkward photo instead 😂 and my dad and I hung out with Sue on the pit wall instead 🤣

In about 2014/15 I won tickets through Red Bull to the Warriors game and it was sitting on the grass with Mad Mike and the Red Bull team. I don't think I paid much attention to the game just chatted with Mike and the team the whole time. It was from there that I basically went to every event Mad Mike was at or running as that super awkward guy who was always there fan girling 🤣

Until 1 day Toni just asked if I wanted to join the Drift Force Team and it's been an experience working along side him ever since! An experience to become part of the family, celebrate Mike's 40th Birthday. It's not every day you get to do shots with your hero.
